i wish...part 1
This is the first layout in a CTMH consultant contest for the convention in July. Of course only CTMH products can be used and the theme is "I Wish...", perfect since it will be at DisneyLand. To make things easier, for me, I will just list out the products used below. Here's a closer look at the flower...it's pretty cool...Paper: More to Adore
Ink: Hollyhock, Chocolate, Cocoa, Bamboo
Stamps: Friendship Flowers D1160, Precious Alphabet D1126, Girly Girl D1003, All My Love D1194, Playful Flourishes D1212
Embellishments: chocolate collection ribbon rounds, mocha opaque pearls, baby girl craft buttons, rhinestone flowers, chocolate bitty brads
Others: stardust glitter glue, clear embossing powder, dimensional elements (heart)

4 Generations
For those of you who may remember, I started my own personal challenge to create all the layouts in the CTMH Imagine how-to book, in order several months ago. I am finally getting back to it. This layout is number 4 in the book and is titled Proof Preview (page 22). The paper/stickers are from Creative Memories Groovy Girl paper pack. The ribbon, brads, hinges, square dimensional element, and other embellishments are from Close to my Heart. With the execption of the peace charm, it is from some long ago jewelry making kit. I used Tim Holtz's ink blending tool (which is THE best) to distress the pages. All the wording is computer printed. Oh yeah, the circle on the lower left corner...that's silver fabric paint. The pics are from early October when we took Carly to get her photos taken. We dined at Red Robin and had the largest most delicious chololate cake...ever!

Banner Blitz
I made this banner for my grandson Elvis. He loves the beach so used that as the theme. The banner pieces and alphabet are from Cricut Country Life cartridge. The outside/inside banners are approx 8.5x11 and 6.5x9. I had to unlock the ratio to make them wide enough. The letters are approx 5.75".

Vintage Baby
Well, I'm on a vintage kick...I've been eye-balling the Ranger Ink and Tim Holtz products and finally bought some. I got Tim Holtz's new book "A Compendium of Curiosities" and it has a bunch of great techniques in it that I used as inspiration. This layout uses already distressed paper from K&G Company, and cocoa background cardstock. I cut a Sizzix flourish in liliac mist, edged it in spring iris, and smeared some diamond stickles around. The CTMH white daisy flowers are sprayed with Tsukinek walnut ink in eucalyptus and terra cotta then embellished with diamond stickles, chocolate brads and miscellaneous doo-dads. The lace is from Walmart and inked up with spring iris. The colonial white edge anchor is distressed with expresso acrylic paint dauber from Ranger Ink.
The photo was edited in Photoshot Elements. The picture is in black & white with just the pink ribbon in color. I've always wanted to try this and finally found a photo it worked with.
And the most important feature of this layout is my 3 month old granddaughter!

Partridge in a Pear Tree
Happy Holidays! I had a lot of fun making this card. A pre-printed card base from CTMH was used that I bought a million years ago. The birds were cut from the Winter Frolic cricut cartridge using Garden Green and a generic blue very similar to Heavenly Blue. I used gold stickles for the eyes and feathers. Inside the card is stamped "Merry Christmas" in Twilight ink and is from CTMH's No Peeking stamp set.

Thankful, Part 3
This layout goes with the Thankful layout from 11/14/10. It follows a template challenge from Frosted Designs. I was unable to submit it in time for the deadline but I've finally found the time to get it scanned and posted (I had to take a day of work to do it!). The layout uses CTMH's Olivia paper pack and stickers. Oh, and it's not your eyes, the pictures are blurry...
